9. Dr. A.P. Singh - Dr. AP Singh is an eminent academician and expert in areas of commerce and agriculture and is a UGC research awardee working on issues relating to WTO Agreement on Agriculture and opportunities and challenges for Indian agri-business.
10. Mr. Akash Taneja – Mr. Taneja belongs to the Indian Trade Service and is the founder member of NIPO. His assignments include tenures as Deputy Director General Foreign Trade where he was assigned the task of liberalization and implementation of the Export & Import policy. Other assignments include OSD to Minister of Power, Deputy Secretary to Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce & Industry looking after trade with South-East Asia and UN-ESCAP division and Dy. Commissioner & Spl. Officer in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for implementation of Property Tax Reforms. He is presently posted as Secretary Bureau of Energy Efficiency in the Ministry of Power looking after implementation aspects of the Energy Conservation Act 2001. Mr. Taneja has a diverse educational background with a Masters in Science from the University of Delhi , Associate of Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy Diploma (equivalent to MSc. Forestry) besides a Master in Business Administration. He has also undergone courses in the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade New Delhi, Lal Bahadur National Academy of Administration Mussoorie, Harvard Institute of International Development and JFK School of Government Harvard University USA .
11. Hon'ble Justice S Jagadeesan - Chairman Intellectual Property Appellate Board. Justice Jagadeesan has been a Former Judge of the Madras High Court) and is presently Chairman IPAB which has been constituted by a Gazette notification of the Central Government in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to hear appeals against the decisions of the Registrar under the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and the Geographical Indications of Goods (Registration and Protection) Act, 1999. The Intellectual Property Appellate Board has its headquarters at Chennai and shall have sittings at Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi , Kolkata and Ahmedabad
12. Prof Biswajit Dhar - Dr. Dhar is Professor and Head, Centre for WTO Studies, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi . He has worked extensively on issues relating to TRIPs, CBD and the Biological Diversity Act.
13. Ms. Manisha Shridhar - Ms. Shridhar belongs to the Indian Administrative Service. She has been involved in the development of the Technology Resource Centers and WTO and IPR inputs for Small Scale Industries. As a faculty member in National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, she has taught WTO and IPR issues to senior civil servants. As District Magistrate in Kangra at Dharamsala and District Magistrate, Shimla has handled development projects having IPR interface. She has written on TRIPS, UPOV, CBD, technology incubators etc. She has a Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property Law, from Franklin Pierce Law Center , Concord , NH , USA and currently registered for a Ph.D. in IIT Delhi on “ Intellectual Property Strategy for Indian Industry.”
